About Domelia

Domelia is the biggest portal offering services for households in Slovakia. Its goal is to support the system of shared economics in the neighbourhoods and to create a community of people who help one another in the household or to become an option for those wanting to get extra income through their skills.

The Domelia community is made up by:

  1. Helpers - private persons who want to get extra income through their skills and work in the household and who want to help the community in their neighbourhood
  2. Households - families and persons who need help while caring for their household, garden or family members
  3. Companies - institutions, companies and businessmen looking for helpers for their teams and at the same time offering services for households

Within their account community members have access to various services in the household, such as cleaning, house keeping, caring for pets or the garden, handicraft, repairs and manipulations, child care, senior and disabled care, tutoring or in services in the health and beauty area. Profiles and adverts of all community members are checked straight after their set up. Customer's support is accessible on all working days.

Currently there are over 9300 profiles posted on the portal and all together 40000 helpers have offered their skills here so far. Their services have been used by 16400 households and companies. On average almost 70 000 visitors visit the portal every month and more than 2 000 readers read the blog.
