Job description

We are looking for an experienced nanny for a newborn baby, expected to be born in November 2026.

For the first 3–6 months, the position would be 24/7 live-in (1-2 days off per week). During this period, the main responsibility would be caring for the newborn, including feeding, changing, soothing the baby and general daily care. The salary for this period is 2,000€ net per month.

After the initial 3–6 months, the position would transition to a regular full-time nanny role with a salary of 1,400€ net per month. Overtime above 40 hours per week is paid separately at 12€/hour. Occasional evening or night shifts may be required from time to time, but these would be agreed in advance.

Once the position transitions to a regular full-time schedule, the responsibilities would include childcare as well as household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and cooking. When the nanny is caring for the baby, she would not be expected to manage household tasks at the same time. The mother or grandparents would take over childcare while the nanny focuses on household duties.

The family is looking for someone experienced with newborns, reliable, professional and interested in a long-term collaboration of at least 2 years. The mother is a first-time parent and will be working from home most of the time, with grandparents also available to help occasionally.

Accompanying the family on holidays may be required later on.
